What is moved4u?

moved4u is a consolidation gateway that provides a fast, flexible, efficient and cost effective regional delivery option. Being purely a delivery service, vehicles are re-loaded continually to meet customer requirements.

Two services are provided within every moved4u facility; these are:

  • moved4u Business Delivery
    This is a drop-in pallet delivery service, pay-as-you-use with no committed volumes required.
  • moved4u Home Delivery (to be launched later this year)
    This is a drop-in home delivery service dedicated to providing continual delivery to homes from 06:00 through until 22:00 7-days a week.

How do the services work?

We have made the service easy to use in order to synchronise with each of our customer's delivery needs.

  • Simply drop your pre-labelled deliveries into us, having input the jobs on-line before hand. As a 24/7 facility, the times of receipt and unload are flexible and to suit you. We then despatch deliveries during the working day.
  • During the working day our Operations Support Desk monitors and controls vehicles, notifying you of any difficulties and resolving them with you at the time. Emails are sent to confirm all delivery exception resolutions.
  • By midnight, all POD images are emailed to each customer, plus a summary report by customer of all delivery exceptions and their resolutions.

Where can I find a moved4u facility?

  • Initially we are operating from a purpose built centre in Tamworth, where we cover west Wales across to Lincoln, Oxford up to Stoke. This includes postcodes B, CV, LE, WS, DE, NG, NN, OX, WR, HR, DY, ST, TF, WV, SY, LD.
  • Other locations and postcode areas have been identified for roll-out, details will follow soon.
